About the NHRC Short Term Internship

The NHRC Short-Term Internship Program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in the field of human rights. Eligibility Criteria NHRC Short Term Internship

The Short-Term Internship Program is open to students from diverse academic backgrounds, including:

Students studying in the 3rd year and onwards of an integrated 5-year PG course

Students studying in the 3rd/final year of a graduation course

Students of any semester/year of any post-graduate degree course

Students of any semester/year of any post-graduate diploma course

Research scholars in any stream

To be eligible, students must have consistently attained a minimum of 60% marks in Class XII and all subsequent courses, including the presently pursued course. The calculated percentage must be mentioned clearly from their CGPA/SGPA along with the formula for the percentage obtained. Additionally, the student should not be more than 28 years old as of July 1, 2024.

Award

a. All the student interns successfully completing the internship would receive a stipend of Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only)

b. Certificate of participation will be awarded to the candidates based on their punctuality, discipline, participation in online sessions; timely submission of Group Project Presentation & Project Reports, and, Book Reviews.

c. It is mandatory for interns to attend all the sessions of the internship. Any application of leave will not be entertained.

Application for OSTI September, 2024

a. The last date for submission of the application is 8′ September, 2024 (18.00 hours). The ‘Application Form’ for Short Term Internship Programme- September, 2024 is available at link ‘Online Short Term Internship’.

b. Application to be submitted Online using link – Online Short Term Internship available at NHRC’s website https://nhrc.nic.in. All the applications should be submitted through this online platform only.

c. If any discrepancy, such as Marks/CGPA/Percentage is found in the details given in any application, then the applicant will be barred from future programs of it along with rejection of such application.

d. Please ensure that the application for OSTI September, 2024 is duly filled. Applications submitted otherwise will not be accepted.

e. The applicants must not use prefixes Mr. / Mrs. / Ms. or any other such prefixes while filling the details in the form.

f. Applicants must make sure that the details entered in the application form are correct. In case of the selection and successful completion of the Internship, the certificates of internship will be issued as per the details provided by the applicants in the application form and no request of change in this regard will be entertained by the commission.

12: Incomplete applications / applications without self attested copies of mark-sheets (10’* Class, 12″ Class, All semesters of Graduation Course & pursuing Course), Letter of recommendation & SOPs etc. will be rejected and Applications sent through e-mails/posts will not be entertained. No application will be accepted after the deadline i.e. 8’® September, 2024 (18.00 Hours).

13. The Final List of Selected Interns will be displayed on NHRC website.

15. The commission reserves the right to discard all/any application, and also to amend or modify the terms and conditions of internship, without assigning any reason.
