About the Internship
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, develop and execute public relations strategies and campaigns to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
- Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
- Coordinate and manage media inquiries, interviews, and press conferences.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Manage crisis communication and develop strategies to mitigate negative publicity.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align PR activities with overall marketing objectives.
- Plan and execute events, including product launches, press conferences, and media tours.
- Create and manage content for internal and external communications, including newsletters, blogs, and social media.
- Track and report on PR campaign performance and media coverage.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Media & Public Relations Manager or similar role.
- Strong network of media contacts and relationships with journalists.
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in managing media inquiries and crisis communication.
- Ability to create compelling content for various communication channels.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in media monitoring and analytics tools.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the news or media industry.
- Experience in event planning and management.
